Original Red 7 Pot Bubblegum Pepper – The first of the bubble gum peppers was created by John Harper of the United Kingdom. It is a now stable cross between a Yellow 7 Pod and a Moruga Scorpion. What made it a hit was the way the pepper’s color bleeds into the calyx and the stem.
Yellow 7 Pot Bubblegum Pepper – Believed to be a natural variant of the original red 7 pot bubblegum pepper.
Caramel 7 Pot Bubblegum Pepper – Believed to be a natural variety of the original red 7 pot bubblegum pepper.
Orange 7 Pot Bubblegum Pepper – Believed to be a natural variety of the original red 7 pot bubblegum pepper.
Chocolate 7 Pot Bubblegum Pepper – Ripe to a very dark brown, almost black at times. Although the exact origin of this pepper is unknown, we believe it showed itself as an unintended cross pollination between the original 7 Pot Bubblegum pepper and a more elongated brown pepper. It continues to use the name bubblegum because like the original red 7 pot bubblegum, the color of the pepper bleeds into the calyx and stem.
White 7 Pot Bubblegum PBM – Sparely available as this pepper is still in development by Peppers by Mail.
