Not less than twenty) Red 7 Pot Bubblegum seeds. The first Red 7 Pot Bubblegum seeds were created by Jon Harper. Reportedly, he created this unique pepper by crossing the Moruga Scorpion with the Yellow 7 Pot Pepper with a very surprising result. The fruit of the offspring did not have color in the pepper alone. Instead, the red colored fruit looks like its color bleeds into the normally green cap and stem.

Often called the BBG7, Mr. Harper does not believe it is a simple cross bred pepper. While he both crossed and back crossed the Moruga Scorpion and Yellow 7 Pot, he feels the variation is the result of a random mutation perhaps occurring in the Moruga scorpion side of the cross.
This pepper remains fairly unstable, with pod variations in both shape and size. It also tends to have a low fertility rate Despite the instability, the amazing appearance of the color bleeding up the stem has caused it to be a very popular pepper among hobby growers. This despite Mr. Harper, a UK based chili grower, not officially releasing the pepper.
We have been growing the 7 Pot Bubblegum long enough to believe it is relatively stable.
