Testosterone and Capsicum

Watching people like the Fire Breathing Idiot on Youtube, I sometimes slink away thinking I just don’t have the testosterone for that sort of stunt.  The pain in his eyes, the tears flowing down his cheeks, and the thought of what will likely be flowing down his other cheeks in the morning.  I just don’t have the testosterone to do that to myself.  Until now, I thought that was just an expression.

Louisville, KY – Sept 27, 2014 – 10 A to 10 P

It is Friday, September 26th at about 8 PM.  I have brought in the produce for tomorrow’s efforts at the Louisville Maker Fair.  I know I am ready with Carolina Reapers, Jalapeno, Pablano, Habanaro, Serano, Sweet Banana, and sweet bell peppers in a wide range of colors.  All fresh and all picked just now.  Thing is, I am in kind of a pickle which makes tomorrows venture a bit of a challenge.

An insane business idea.

Our gardening efforts started as a way to offset the grocery bill.  As my love for gardening grew, I needed a more than just grocery savings to justify the expansion.  One thing led to another and here we are, following what by most people’s judgement is an insane business idea.  After all, who buys mail order produce?  Believe it or not, you probably do.  In fact, much of it was probably shipped from much further away than our homestead.
