I am excited to announce that Peppers by Mail now ships internationally. This became possible with the many trade partners we have made across the globe. For years, we have been trading seeds with folk from various international destinations. This gave us a general idea of the costs and the ability to decide a fair flat rate.
Would you like to know when Peppers by Mail updates its site? Would you like to know when new fresh peppers become available? Each summer, the most common question is when are specific peppers coming fresh. Because summer inventory changes every day and fresh peppers go in and out of stock, often times folk miss their favorite pepper when it becomes sold out. My wife and I thought long and hard about how to promote Gift Cards by PBM. Should we say “Give the gift of heat” like last year’s promotion? Should we say “Ask for the Gift of Heat” and promote the gift cards a bit more honestly? We went with the more honest approach: Ask for the Gift of Heat. .
I just finished packing up the seed orders from the Thanksgiving weekend sale. Many thanks to all who participated. The orders will all go out in the AM. Want to share that getting orders out is not what it is all about. Yes, we want to get orders out in a timely manner. Yes, we very much appreciate and need the income. But making money is not at the top of our list. Sustainability is. My wife and I want to leave our children a homestead that will last for many lifetimes. To achieve such a goal, we think balance is important.
For the last day of the Thanksgiving sale, take 50% off anything not already on sale. Its easy. Just use coupon code ‘cybermonday” at checkout.
Peppers by Mail now offers seed sales to our Canadian brothers and sisters. We have set a flat rate for all seed sales to Canada at $5.00 US to start. We have no idea if this will cover costs at this time, but think it is a good place to start. We will adjust the price up or down when we get an average of actual shipping costs.
