The Ebola Pepper Challenge

Although it might sound a bit nuts, look at how well the bucket of ice challenge did to raise awareness of ALS as well as funds towards fighting ALS.  Major celebrities got on board and Youtube videos were a flying.  Now combine that with the videos of the various pepper challenges, but connect that to a charity attempting to relieve the suffering of  the Ebola virus.

Testosterone and Capsicum

Watching people like the Fire Breathing Idiot on Youtube, I sometimes slink away thinking I just don’t have the testosterone for that sort of stunt.  The pain in his eyes, the tears flowing down his cheeks, and the thought of what will likely be flowing down his other cheeks in the morning.  I just don’t have the testosterone to do that to myself.  Until now, I thought that was just an expression.

Ghost Pepper Cheese

There is an exemption to the commercial kitchen law for Kentucky Farms who sell products on their farms, at road side stands, and at certified farmers markets.  By working with the extension office and adhering to specific labeling requirements, its not all that hard to locally market baked goods, jams, jellies, and other home made goods.  Cheese is an entirely different subject.  This essentially means more for us.
